Model of the demonstration area interior, marked with red color. The Owner of the Shopping Centre prefers a “staggered” project by implementing the energy-efficient measures in different time frame and different areas while ensuring the realization of the EcoShopping’s demonstration goals
The external walls of the DEMO area have been insulated with EPS type insulation. The EPS insulation is made of graphite EPS boards and complementary mineral wool. The placement of the insulation material on the model of the Shopping Centre, marked with red colour
The applied material is the Sto Color Climasan interior paint. The purpose of this application is the further evaluation of the effectivity of the air-cleaning material and to enhance the indoor air quality. . AC & DC Heat pumps
The aim was to increase the share of renewable energy use and the use of the electricity produced by the photovoltaic system. An air-to-water heat pump system was designed to achieve this goal and produce thermal energy for the building. The system is consisting of 5 (4 AC HPs and 1 DC HP) sets of HP units.
Air handling Unit
A commercial solution is being applied in order to complement the EcoShopping investment and ensure the realization of requirements, the occupant’s comfort and the optimal operation of the EcoShoppig solutions.
Radiant heating and cooling ceiling (Capillary tube system)
The capillary tube heating and cooling system placed in the ceiling surface meets the energy efficiency requirements for optimisation of heat pump COP for heating and cooling process thanks low temperature differences.
The monitoring system include the real time measurment of environmental condition, interior comfort and internal air quatlity. The mornitoring system is composed of acustic sensing system, fix sensing network and mobile sensing system with the robot.
Intelegent Automation Unit
As the brain of the building, the IAU is targeted to monitor the parameters, coordinate all the energy system using a model based predictive algorithem to optimized the building energy consumption.
